Our Story
We're designer sisters (interior and fashion) obsessed with bargains, finding beauty in unexpected places, and using our talents to better our community. We always knew we wanted to work together, so we jumped at the chance when someone asked for our help with their house. And, then they referred us to their friend. Who referred us to their friend. We were enjoying it so much we thought, well, maybe we've got something here. Since we don't live in the same city, we were emailing each other constantly. "This rug went on sale... what is your honest on these pillows? Also, your end table is too leggy." (Sisters, am I right?) Before we knew it (and before it was even trendy), our e-design dream was born.
Lauren graduated from Duke University with a degree in Art History and Architecture and then went on to study interior design at the New York School of Interior Design. After interning with Ralph Lauren Home, she worked for Alessandra Branca and then Frank Ponterio in Chicago. She and her husband have a sweet and vivacious boy and an adventurous toddler girl. Liz has a BFA in Fashion Design from Washington University in St. Louis and spent the last decade designing women’s and children’s clothing in New York and Milwaukee before making the leap from apparel to interiors. She is married to her middle school sweetheart, whom she shares two young, loud daughters with and a newborn boy.
