Can't stop watching Mad Men on Netflix? As the name implies, Midcentury Modern (which has become increasingly popular over the past decade) is adapted from design between the mid-1940s to 1970. The style emphasizes uncomplicated, pared-down shapes and contemporary patterns as it combines natural materials with man-made. We're huge fans of its bold use of color.
