While seaside design originated next to the ocean and lends itself to beach house living, you don't necessarily have to reside near water to enjoy its tranquil effect. (Just ask our landlocked mom in Missouri!) Bring the beach to you through a palette of blues and turqs, natural textiles, beadboard architectural detail, a few well-edited seafaring accessories, and so many stripes. (To date we have yet to meet a blue and white stripe we didn't love.)
